The College of Business at National Taipei University (NTPU)
Distance Learning and Academic Exchange with the AVer VC520 Pro
''Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, we have shifted from in-class learning to distance learning. Also, we used to foster connections with our overseas partner universities by visiting them in person. For instance, we would meet in Japan one year, and then we would meet in Taiwan the following year. Since we couldn’t meet in person this year, we decided to contact our partners via video calls. We implemented AVer’s system to magnificent effect.''

National Taipei University began as Taiwan Provincial College of Public Administration in 1949. The aim of the college of business is to educate and train the country’s business elite and become one of the most renowned academic institutions in the Asia Pacific basin, with quality faculty and educational programs. The COVID-19 pandemic forced school administrators to find new approaches to learning and academic events. With the AVer VC520 Pro conferencing camera, they were able to implement distance learning and maintain connections with overseas partner universities. Most importantly, the university used the VC520 Pro to earn accreditation from the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
Throughout the process, AVer’s VC520 Pro delivered brilliant imaging clarity and remarkable audio quality. It helped NTPU with distance learning, international academic exchange, and earning a critical accreditation.
